Wageningen University & Research Library is located in the Forum building on Wageningen Campus. The library seeks to facilitate students and researchers in their education and research. The focus here is primarily on digital collections.
However, there is also a large collection of printed works (books and journals) in the field of Life Sciences and a Special Collections department with rare and valuable material.
The library is not only for students and employees of Wageningen University & Research, but also for third parties who are granted access to some of the library’s services, including companies located on campus. A large collection of Open Access publications by Wageningen University & Research is also publically available online.
There are some computers in the library reserved for guests. From these computers you can access virtually the entire online library. With a valid ID, guests can also borrow books free of charge.
Finally, the library can also provide a number of customised services. That could include delivering printed publications directly on location, providing training in the field of information literacy or creating fact sheets, files or databases on specific topics.
